The course is suitable for those interested in acute care, and especially for nurses/nursing students who want to learn about acute care in-hospital, such ascare in intensive and/or dependent care units.

- Basics of nursing care for critically ill patients
- Basic critical care nursing in intensive care units and surveillance wards.
- Nursing practice of a patient with respiratory failure
- Nursing practice of a patient with circulatory failure
- Nursing practice of a patient with consciousness disorders.
