Objective
After completing the course, you will be able to

- write a variety of factual texts from different perspectives
- give reasons for your own opinions
- summarise the key points in texts and in oral presentations
- use the right tone and style in your writing
- use structures typical of written language.
Content
- Written language structures: rections and non-finite clauses, different ways of linking a text
- Comprehension of factual texts
- Understanding of speech
- Writing factual texts (opinion piece, summary, essay, report and email)
- Discussion on Moodle discussion forums
