Objective

After successfully completing the study unit, you are able to present a company and exhibit its products and services in English at an international trade fair. You perform and interact in a natural and customer-focused way. You are able to recognize cultural features that influence sales and negotiation processes and you can take them into account when choosing your negotiation strategy and appropriate communication style. You can communicate in English in social media channels and can write an interesting blog post. You can provide after sales service and reply tactfully to customer feedback and complaints.

Completion alternatives

The student who has acquired the required competence in business communication in English non- or informally can complete the course through RPL Proof of Competence. The possibility and methods of demonstrating written and spoken communication skills must be agreed with the teacher before the beginning of the study unit.

Student workload

The course contains appriximately 20 hours of scheduled session on campus. The weekly sessions are complemented with self-study assignments and some pair and group work.
