Objective
You are able to operate in your field in Swedish in the Nordic countries. You understand the importance of language skills as a part of your professional skills. You are able to communicate in oral and written working life communication situations in Swedish. You improve your skills in professional vocabulary, understand professional texts in your field and are able to write written reports and give oral presentations in Swedish.

Teaching methods
This course is the second course included in your degree. During the course, you will deepen your professional Swedish language skills in your own field and strengthen your oral and written communication skills in working life. In addition, you will familiarise yourself with Nordic business life and work culture.
Course topics:
- You are studying content in your own field in Swedish
- You will get to know the media in your own field in Swedish
- You will learn how to present a Nordic company in your field and its products or services, for example, at a trade fair
- You will learn to understand and use the passive voice and participles in professional texts in your own field
- You will get to know the Nordic business life and working life culture

Exam schedules
Exam dates:
Make sure that you have completed all the exercises that need to be returned before the exams. You can find the schedules in the course schedule
You can find the times of the exams in the group-specific schedule of the course. The teacher presents the schedule at the first meeting. You can also find the test area and schedule of the written exam in Moodle in the section Written exam and the oral exam schedule under Oral exam. The written exam is taken before the oral exam.
Retaking exams
If you do not pass your exam, you can retake the exam twice as soon as possible after retaking the course. The written exam is repeated in the Exam exam aquarium. The retake of the oral exam is agreed upon with the teacher.
Completion alternatives
If you have completed a corresponding course earlier, you can start the course by completing the written exam of the course in the Exam exam aquarium.
