Objective

The student:
- applies health and well-being strategies and statistical information in the planning, implementation, evaluation and development of public health nursing work
- works in various working groups, networks and projects and is able to be responsible for the activities of the team/group
- makes decisions in unforeseen situations and operating environments
- develops work community skills in public health nursing work and its development
- owns the basics of financial monitoring that affect their own work and acts cost-consciously
- communicates on issues related to health and well-being based on evidence
- identifies their own development, innovation and research competence and strengthens them in their expert role in health promotion
- follows research results and develops development ideas and develops public health nursing work proactively and innovatively based on the needs of society and working life
- recognizes the ability to work collaboratively in finding solutions and approaches to future global, national and regional health promotion challenges
- acts as a health promotion expert in the multidisciplinary development of service providers, users and with stakeholders
- develop evidence-based and high-quality public health nursing work
- evaluate the quality, impact and effectiveness of development activities
- utilize and apply your evidence-based knowledge in working life-oriented development activities as part of a group

Content

- development of evidence-based nursing work and health promotion
- utilization of research and project results and other work community expertise in the development of nursing work

- developmental and reflective approach to work in nursing work
- quality and its criteria in nursing work
- working in a group or team to promote health
- different levels of health promotion management: wellbeing strategies and reports as a development tool
- networking and with stakeholders in occupational health nursing work
- acting as a team/workgroup manager in the development of nursing work
- working life skills in nursing work and its development
- managing one's own work, self-management, knowledge-based management, independent work and decision-making
- activity and influence for the development of health promotion and nursing work

The course includes planning, implementing and evaluating development work in a group. A written plan is drawn up on the topic and implementation of the development work, and a publication is written about the whole. The development work process is presented in a seminar.

Objectives:
- recognizes his own development, innovation and research skills and strengthens them in his role as an expert in health promotion
- follows research results, the idea behind the development of the section develops the nursing work proactively and innovatively, starting from the needs of society and working life
- the identifier cooperates in searching for solutions and methods of operation in future global, national and regional health promotion challenges
- acts as a health promotion expert in multidisciplinary development with service producers, users and stakeholders
- develops evidence-based and high-quality nursing work
- evaluates the quality, impact and effectiveness of development activities.
