Location and time

The course will be implemented during the summer semester 2024 on the Moodle learning platform of Karelia University of Applied Sciences.

Materials

In this course, we use the English version of the Finland – Civic Orientation Textbook.

The texts have been slightly adapted with the permission of the publisher, Finnish Refugee Council.

Teaching methods

This is a self-paced, non-stop online course for ICT students.

Student workload

It takes an estimated 27 hours or 1 credit to complete the course.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

To get a passing grade you need to get around 75% of the correct answers in the multiple-choice tests.

You are allowed 10-15 minutes to take each quiz and you can retake them once.
