Objective

After completing the course, you will understand the theoretical foundations behind resource-oriented and solution-focused approaches.
You will also be able to explain the key characteristics of resource-oriented and solution-focused thinking and practice within the social and educational sectors.

Content

The core content of the course focuses on the theoretical framework of resource-oriented practice,
which includes social constructionism, dialogicality, and narrativity.

In addition, you will gain practical insight into resource-oriented and solution-focused approaches through various methods and tools, such as the Open Dialogue model, the “Taking up One´s Worries” approach, and motivational interviewing.
