Having completed the course the student pronounces Finnish in an understandable manner. She/he knows Finnish alphabet. She/he can introduce himself in Finnish and use polite phrases and greetings. She/he can ask and answer basic questions. She/he knows basic vocabulary, e.g. numbers, expressions of time, countries, nationalities etc.

Finnish alphabet: pronunciation, reading and writing.Sharing personal information: e.g. names, nationality, language skills.Situations at cafes, restaurants and department stores
