Objective

• Apply project management methods to adapt to the health impacts of climate change on the elderly.
• Engage the elderly in planning and implementing projects aimed at supporting their adaptation to the health impacts of climate change.
• Plan and implement projects together with other social and health sector workers and stakeholders to mitigate the health impacts of climate change on the elderly.

Content

The aim of this microcredential is to enhance knowledge of project management methods, participation and co-production (co-creation) as well as evaluation and embedding project results. The skills will be applied to adapting the health impacts of climate change on the elderly. The micro credential is designed for students and professionals in the social and health care.

The microcredential is implemented as part of the international chAnGE project. The study materials are provided via the Moodle platform of a partner university, which is why you will be directed to Webropol to accept the privacy statement. Without your consent, participation in the course is not possible. Karelia will transfer your name, email address, and information about the selected courses to the partner university. You must begin with the course Climate Change and Its Effects on Older Persons’ Health, as it forms the foundation for the other microcredentials. The course is at EQF level 6 (Bachelor’s degree level).
