- you can describe the methods of research and development and apply them in your own thesis process

- development work process and methods as well as functional thesis
- ethics and reliability

Tavoitteena on, että opiskelijana:
- ymmärrät tutkimus- ja kehittämistyön tieteenfilosofiset lähtökohdat
- ymmärrät tutkimustyön keskeiset käsitteet
- osaat tutkimus- ja kehittämistyön prosessin eri vaiheet ja menetelmät
Sisältö:
- johdatus tutkimusmenetelmiin
- määrälliset ja laadulliset tutkimusmenetelmät sekä tutkimuksellinen opinnäytetyö
- kehittämistyön prosessi ja menetelmät sekä toiminnallinen opinnäytetyö
- eettisyys ja luotettavuus
