Objective
This course will give you understanding the use of the ultra precision manufacturing methods. You learn to use the advanced measuring tools and understand their possibilities and limitations. You understand what kinds of operations are needed to make dimensionally extremely accurate products. Kurssin opetuskieli on suomi mikäli kurssilla ei ole vaihto-opiskelijoita.

Advanced measurement technology:International standards, linear and geometric tolerances, Surface, mechanical and optical metrology, computer-aided metrology, 3d scanning metrology, CAD-to-part analysis, alignment or reverse engineering (3d skannaus, skannatun tiedon käsittely ja vertaaminen 3d malliin, käänteinen suunnittelu mittausdatan perusteella) Programming of CMM (Coordinate measurement machine), simulation of measurement and DMIS code (Mittakoneiden ohjelmointi ja simulaatiot) Measurement automation (mittaamisen automatisointi )Precision manufacturing; EDM technologies (kipinätyöstöteknologiat) Laser tehnologies (lasertyöstöteknologiat) Additive manufacturing (ainetta lisäävät valmistusmenetelmät)
