Objective

You will be able to communicate in an understandable way in common and everyday situations. You can use a sufficient number of the most common words and expressions and basic structures to get your point across. You can understand the main points of slow speech when you are familiar with the subject. You can exchange ideas or information in familiar and everyday situations and sometimes maintain a conversation. You can produce short texts on familiar topics orally and in writing.

Location and time

Opintojakso toteutetaan verkossa Moodle-ympäristössä viikoilla 6-18 (viikolla 10 ei ole opetusta)

Teaching methods

Tapaat opettajan ja muun ryhmän verkossa kerran viikossa 1,5 tuntia kerrallaan Moodlen Collaboratessa:
harjoitellaan pääasiassa suullisesti,
ohjauksen kieli on englanti ja opetuksen kieli tarvittaessa myös suomi.

Harjoittelet Moodlen avulla noin 65 tuntia:
tehdään erilaisia verkkotehtäviä ennen ja jälkeen verkkotapaamisia.

Student workload

Tämän opintojakson laajuus on 3 op, yhteensä noin 80 tuntia opiskelua.
Tästä noin 15 tuntia on verkkotapaamisia ke klo 16.15-17.45,
loppu 65 tuntia on itsenäistä ohjattua työskentelyä verkossa ennen verkkotapaamista ja sen jälkeen.
