Objective

Learning outcomes:
On completion of the course the successful student will be able to
identify basic concepts and issues relating to culture and intercultural communication
apply theories of intercultural communication into his/her own professional context
pay attention to his/her own communication skills in working life
analyse the role of intercultural communication competence as a professional skill in different work settings
The course takes place at the University of Eastern Finland by University Lecturer Lea Meriläinen. (The course coordinator at Karelia UAS is Heidi Vartiainen .
Karelia UAS students and exchange students must register through UEF online registration form (will be available later).
The amount of students accepted is 20 from Karelia UAS.
