Objective
After completing the course, you know the numeral systems and make numeral system conversions. You know the basic components of digital systems and know how to use them in small-scale control systems. In the course you will also get acquainted with the basics of programming.

- number conversions
- combination circuits and logic
- programming basics.

Teaching methods
Opintojakson suoritettuasi osaat lukujärjestelmät sekä tehdä lukujärjestelmämuunnokset. Tunnet digitaalijärjestelmien peruskomponentit ja osaat käyttää niitä pienmuotoisissa ohjausjärjestelmissä. Opintojaksolla tutustut myös ohjelmoinnin perusteisiin. Opintojaksolla käsitellään:
- lukujärjestelmät
- lukumuunnokset
- kombinaatiopiirit ja -logiikka
- ohjelmoinnin perusteet
- laboratoriotyöt.
