Objective
After completing the course, the students: - can identify processes of forest policy, recognise the aims, instruments, and operators of the Finnish forest policy - Recognize the importance of forests and forest policy for the welfare of the society - gain general understanding on how EU and global forest policy affects domestic policy. - Develop a historical perspective is added to provide how past affects the present and to give a time perspective with a length comparable to the long rotation period of forests.

Hybrid teaching consisting of lectures and exercises • Course exam online and thereafter in electronic exam environment (EXAM) • Exercises require participation in session or alternatively they can be done individually online.
