Objective
After this course the student: - Knows the fundaments of tree growth and function - Understand the basic principles of photosynthesis and related processes in plants - Can interpret the effect of the most important environmental stresses on tree physiology The study unit develops the following generic skills: critical thinking, identification and development of expertise, interaction and communication.

Content
This course focuses on the biological basis of tree growth and tree interactions. The course covers fundamentals of tree physiology and photosynthesis. Additionally, the course will cover how the function of the trees changes in response to the environmental stresses.
