Objective

The student can - communicate in writing in situations in one's field and working life - acquire and convey information in writing in Finnish - describe, explain and define the phenomena of one's field - express and justify opinions and understandings in one's field - refer to information sources - develop language skills independently - use intermediate level grammar: sentence equivalents, participles and infinitives in the text, subordinate clauses and rare locative forms, i.e. comitative, instructive and abessive.

Methods of completion

- This is a 100% nonstop online course for immigrants or native speakers of Swedish. - You can start the course when it suits you. - It takes about 135 hours to complete the course.

- writing skills - text comprehension skills - texts, language use situations and vocabulary in the student's own field - the language of university studies and working life - intermediate level (YKI 4, B2 level) grammar

Teaching methods

Kurssi on maahanmuuttajille ja ruotsia äidinkielenä puhuville, joilla on jo B1 - B2-tason kielitaito suomen kielessä. Kurssi on nonstop-verkkokurssi, jolla opiskellaan itsenäisesti. Kurssin suoritusaika on henkilökohtainen. Opintojakso alkaa 16.9.2024 ja päättyy 31.7.2025. Opintojaksolla opiskellaan verkossa Edunia-oppimisympäristössä. Opiskelija opiskelee itsenäisesti ja tekee kurssin tehtäviä. Tehtävien avulla harjoitellaan mm. kielioppia, sanastoa sekä tekstien ymmärtämistä taitotasolla B2. Opintojakso arvioidaan kurssin tehtävien ja kokeiden perusteella. Aloitustapaaminen on Zoomissa 20.9.2024 klo 12. Huom! Kurssia ei voi suorittaa, jos oma äidinkieli on suomi.
