Objective

The student masters the modelling of three-dimensional objects and the creation of assemblies from the modelled parts. The student models parts and builds assemblies from them. The student creates drawings from models and assemblies. The student demonstrates the ability to read and create drawings.

Content

3D modelling by adding and removing material; design of rotationally symmetric parts using different modelling techniques; use of sheet metal modelling tool, auxiliary geometry and assembly using different clamping methods; drawing, adding parts list and part numbers to assembly drawing

Teaching methods

Opintojakso toteutetaan SolidWorks 3D-mallinnus ohjelmaa hyödyntäen. Opintojaksolla käydään läpi 3D-mallinnuksen perusteet videoluentojen sekä itsenäisesti opiskellen harjoitustöiden avulla. Opintojakso toteutetaan kokonaisuudessaan verkossa.
