Content scheduling

On this course, you will learn what is meant by the circular economy and why it is needed. In addition you will acquire a deeper appreciation of the importance and opportunities of the circular economy through four different subject areas:
- a sustainable food system,
- forestry related cycles,
- technical cycles and
- transport and logistics.

Objective

The objective of the course is to
• develop an overall image of the circular economy and understand its basic principles
• understand the problems of today’s consumption of resources and how the circular economy can help in resolving these problems
• become familiar with approaches that could promote the circular economy
• create a vision of practical activities that could be undertaken by different sectors to promote the circular economy

Study course material at MOOC at your own pace. The recommended way is to proceed in the numerical order of the sections, but you can proceed in the other order, too.

· Perform multiple-choice tasks. At the end of the sections Introduction, Sustainable Food System, Forest Based Cycle, Mobilty and Sharing Economy, Technical Cycle there are multiple choice tasks that must all be completed successfully. You must get at least 70% correct. If you do not get enough tasks correctly, you will have to wait a day to try again. Use it to study course materials. There are no restrictions on the number of attempts.

· Print yourself a MOOC certificate once you have successfully completed all multiple-choice tasks.

· Write a two-page essay, one page with the title "What I learned" and the other page with "How to improve recycling in the activity areas covered by the course". At the end of the essay, state that you are taking a three credit course.
