Objective
You are able to use the thematic general laws to solve simple problems mathematically. You know how to use SI units and derived units. You are able to use the laws learned to design simple laboratory measurements and to carry out those measurements, as well as related invoices and analysis of results.
Content
- Kinematics
- Thermodynamics
- Pneumatics
- CAS for mechanical tasks (optional)
- Laboratory exercises (mandatory presence)
Materials
All material needed will be provided on Moodle or during the lectures or laboratory sessions.
Exam schedules
The course assessment is based on the laboratory reports from laboratory work and a final exam.
Assessments of this course can not be done on EXAM-environment.
Completion alternatives
There are no alternative completion method on this course due to the laboratory work.
Student workload
Lessons, laboratory sessions and assessment 30 hours and 30 minutes.
Self-learning about 50 hours
Total 81 hours
One academic credit equals about 27 hours of work for student.
Further information
The laboratory sessions are mandatory due to the final assessment method.
Evaluation scale
H-5
