Objective
You know how to use a CNC machining center and utilise the knowledge gained during the course in other engineering assignments. You are able to create CAM programs for the parts you designed. You are able to choose the fastening method for the part to be machined and fasten the part. You know the basics of manual operation of a machining center and the running of ready-made CAM programs.

Teaching methods
Opintojaksolla opiskellaan CAM-ohjelmiston käyttöä ja työstöratojen simulointia.
Lisäksi suoritetaan labraharjoituksena koneistettavan kappaleen valmistusta työstökeskuksella ja manuaalisorvilla.
