Objective

You know the ecological basics of Finnish forests. You understand how the conditions of forest sites affect the growth of the trees and silvicultural decisions. You can identify forest types and the main plant species associated with them. You can identify soil types according to the requirements of practical forestry. You know the most important characteristics of forest land as a basis for forest management practices.
