The development plan will be returned for comment by 1 December 2024. The evaluated version must be returned no later than 20 January 2025.

Assessment methods and criteria

The evaluation is based on the content and form of the development plan. You also get verbal feedback on the plan.

Assessment criteria, fail (0)

The development plan evaluated for improvement has serious deficiencies in terms of self-assessment, setting development goals or using sources. Serious deficiencies in the layout or structure of the report may also cause a need for supplementation.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

In a satisfactory development plan, the student analyzes himself, his skills and goals superficially. The plan reflects the student's own values, perceptions and beliefs related to work and management to some extent. Sources have been used sparingly. Development goals and evaluation procedures are set in the development plan. The plan is slavishly structured according to the model of the work instructions.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

In a good development plan, the student analyzes himself, his skills and goals, reflecting firsthand. The plan shows the student's own values, perceptions and beliefs related to work and management. Background support and points of comparison have been found for these in the literature. Sources have been used sufficiently. Development goals and evaluation procedures are set in the development plan. Personal choices, insights, connections, observations and questions have been presented and justified to the reader.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

In a commendable development plan, the student analyzes himself, his skills and goals, reflecting firsthand. The plan reflects the student's own values, perceptions and beliefs related to work and management. Background support and points of comparison have been found for these in the literature. The sources have been used in a variety of ways and the dialogue with them is natural. The development plan sets clear and realistic development goals and credible evaluation procedures for them. Personal choices, insights, connections, observations and questions have been presented and justified to the reader. The plan is structured in a unique way and it progresses logically.
