Objective

The aim of the course is that the student is able
- to present the broad scope of rehabilitation and apply the key concepts and methods of rehabilitation in their own work
- to recognise the significance of multidisciplinary cooperation in rehabilitation activities
- Identify the possibilities of technology and ethical issues related to the use of technology
- to interpret and apply key national and international legislation and funding policies as well as policies guiding rehabilitation
- to develop rehabilitation ethos in multiprofessional work promoting the rehabilitation of older people
- to evaluate and utilize evidence-based rehabilitation information
