Objective

The aim of the module is that the student is able
- to assess and develop rehabilitation in a broad, multidisciplinary and goal-oriented manner based on the individual needs, resources and well-being of older people
- to assess the need for technology and develop its possibilities in supporting the rehabilitation of older people
- to evaluate and plan accessibility systematically in a multidisciplinary manner
to promote accessibility for older people in different environments
- evaluate and develop multidisciplinary rehabilitative activities of older people in communities and society, utilising evidence-based information
- to utilize RAI comparative data in management

Content
- Development and application of concepts and methods of rehabilitation promoting individual well- being in rehabilitation of older people
- Multiprofessional rehabilitation plan:
- individual needs, resources, principles of well-being of the elderly person, the rehabilitation process models
- Collaboration in multidisciplinary rehabilitation in the everyday life of older people and in supporting agency
- Welfare technologies to support the rehabilitation of older people and to promote well-being
- Accessibility of the built environment (eg. Design for All, DfA)
- Application of RAI comparative data in management
