Objective

The objective of this part of practical training is to make you familiar with the future tasks of an engineer, to familiarize you with the stakeholder groups and apply the studied skills in practice. You learn how to work as a member of the work organization independently and with responsibility. You learn the skills and knowledge demanded in your field and use the appropriate working methods in a professional manner. You find new learning goals through practical experience. It is recommended that the practical training and thesis support each other as a whole.

Accomplishment methods

1 vko työharjoittelua vastaa 1,5 op. Harjoittelun kesto noin 5 työviikkoa (37,5 h/viikko).

Content

Harjoittelu tapahtuu ohjatusti ja siinä perehdytään insinöörin ammatissa tarvittaviin valmiuksiin ja työympäristöihin. Harjoittelussa suoritetaan koulutusalan vaativampia työtehtäviä ja toimintoja. Osa harjoittelusta suositellaan suoritettavaksi ulkomailla.
