Objective

Developing into a professional (1 cr). You are able to recognise your own professional development and you are able to evaluate your own skills critically setting yourself targets of development. In the course of your studies you are able to act like a professional according to best techniques. You are able to ensure your study well-being and understand its importance from the study communities point of view. You are able to maintain your motivation and in difficult times ask for professional help, if necessary. You are able to plan your own time management and to prioritise things in order to make satisfactory study progress.You are able to give developmental feedback.

Content

Appraisal interviews, evaluation of own professional skills and making your own competences visible, developmental needs. Students well-being.

Teaching methods

Opintojakso toteutetaan pääasiassa luentomuotoisena. Luennoille kutsutaan Karelia ammattikorkeakoulun rakennustekniikan koulutuksesta aikaisemmin valmistuneita kertomaan urastaan ja suuntautumisvalinnastaan.

Luennot 10 h, kehityskeskustelu 2 h, oman osaamisen ja kehittymisen arviointi 10 h, HOPSin päivitys 5 h
