You know how to identify the topics of the discussions and distinguish between written and spoken language. You know how to describe oneself, everyday life and competence briefly. You know how to act in everyday situations. You know how to find the core issues in short texts and write short texts.

The student participates in an online course. The student does assignments and responds to other students. The student participates in online lectures, watches videos and reads materials and literature. The student takes online exams. Performance cannot be equated to a general language test result (YKI).

Content

- Everyday communication situations: telling about oneself, expressing time, understanding the news
- Vocabulary and phrases of everyday communication situations
- Spoken language features and spoken language vocabulary
- Basic level (YKI 2) grammar

The materials used in the course Moodle.
