Objective
You are able to work in Scandinavian tourist attractions. You understand the language skills to be an essential part of you professional know-how. You can communicate orally and in written language in core customer situations within tourism and negotiate in good manner. You strengthen your tourism related vocabulary.
Content
Customer service (hotel, restaurant, travel agency), negotiations/meetings, taking care of Scandinavian visitors, tasks and vocabulary in tourism, tourism vocabulary, correspondence, current Scandinavian phenomena in tourism, core tourist attractions, Scandinavian culture, intercultural Scandinavian communication.

Teaching methods
Opiskelija kykenee toimimaan matkailun pohjoismaisessa toimintaympäristössä. Hän ymmärtää kielitaidon olevan oleellinen osa ammattitaitoaan. Opiskelija osaa viestiä suullisesti ja kirjallisesti keskeisissä matkailualan asiakastilanteissa sekä neuvotella kohteliaasti ja asianmukaisesti työelämän tilanteissa. Opiskelija vahvistaa oman ammattialansa sanaston hallintaa.
