Objective
You get knowledge, advise and guidance that will support you in your studies. You learn to evaluate the development of your own knowledge and skills. The course supports the management of the individual development bow at the studies and the development of decision-making and career management. You learn to follow the common use at the working life.
Content
The basics of the studies/common studies. You are able to profit from the services and learning environments of Karelia University of Applied Sciences. As a student you are able to act according to good manners and practices of working life. You learn to evaluate your own knowledge and professional development and you see the appraisals as a part of working life practises. You are able to group in the study community and boost from your part the good study atmosphere. You are familiar with the activities and services of the student union. You feel yourself responsible for your own studies and professional development and your own study skills, well being and coping. Getting familiar with the own professional field / Student counsellor. You are familiar with your own study plan and the practices of your degree programme. You comprehend the process of your personal study plan and are able to work out an appropriate study plan for yourself. You understand toe principle and practises of recognising prior learning. You know which persons are involved on the study counselling and are able to ask for supervision from the correct persons, if neccessary. A review into the practises and methods of the own sector. If needed the student starts the process for recognising prior learning.
