Objective
Part A: Anatomy and Physiology 3 cr
- You will be able to explain the normal structure, function and regulation of the body's organ systems.
- You know the terminology of anatomy and physiology in Finnish and Latin.
Part B: Functional anatomy 4 credits
- You will know the Latin and Finnish names and terminology of the musculoskeletal structures (bones, joints, muscles).
- You will be able to dissect the bony landmarks of the human body.
- Know the principles of postural assessment of the human body
- Have a detailed knowledge of the anatomy of individual muscles (origins, insertions and functions).
- You will learn more about the anatomy of the joints and know the directions of joint movement in Finnish and Latin and the normal ranges of motion
- Be able to make clinical reasoning about muscle function in some of the basic postures and movement patterns of the human body
Part C: Motor Development and Learning 4 cr
- You know the basics of motor regulation. You know the theoretical basis of motor development and learning.
- You will be able to apply knowledge in the observation of motor development, teaching and guidance of motor skills.
