Tavoitteet
The student familiarizes him/herself with various phases in the development of Russian history and is able to summarize them in order to understand the complexities of the present.The student gains some insight into the economic geography of the Russian Federation. By the end of the course, s/he will have a basic understanding of the present political, economic and social situation in Russia, a grasp of the factors impacting the economic performance of Russia and of the economic importance of primary resources.
