Objective

In the internship, the student performs practical work tasks in a construction company, utilizing the knowledge and skills acquired during the study.

Content

Familiarization with the professional image under the supervision of a supervisor in real work positions in a real company. Familiarization with and participation in managerial skills and duties as well as human resources management. Familiarization with and participation in production planning, control and implementation at the workplace or construction site. A development assignment for a company where the student demonstrates the ability to design, implement, and report on the solution to an engineering-level problem.

Teaching methods

Opintojaksolla järjestetään yksi infotilaisuus työelämäharjoittelusta, jossa kerrotaan opintojakson toteutustavasta. Opiskelija hankkii itse opintojakson tavoitteisiin soveltuvan harjoittelupaikan ja sopii harjoittelun suorittamisesta opintojakson vastuuopettajan kanssa.
