Objective

The student knows more comprehensively the vocabulary in the field of building services technology and is able to tell about Finnish industry and especially about the industry in building services technology. S/he is able to tell about the business operations in the field and is able to present a company and is able to manage well in everyday spoken communication in the field and in more demanding professional situations both orally and in writing. The student is also able to give a spoken presentation on some company or field of industry.

Content

Vocabulary in building services engineering, familiarizing with Finnish industry and various fields, telling about them, company presentation, customer services situations (spoken and written), reporting in various working life situations

Teaching methods

The student has a broader knowledge of the vocabulary of his/her field and can tell about Finnish industry and especially about the industry of his/her field. He/she is able to present a company and an individual company, is able to work in the more demanding everyday language situations in his/her field, both orally and in writing, and is able to give an oral presentation.
