-Major cancers.
-Cancer prevention.
-Interventions and methods in the nursing care of a cancer patient.
-Key concepts of palliative care and end of life care: living will, treatment lines and limitations of care, advance care plan.
-Identifying the need for palliative or end of life care.
-Typical physical symptoms and treatment of a palliative patient: pain, symptoms in airways and in gastrointestinal tract.
-Role of a nurse in palliative care and end of life care.
-Encountering an terminally ill patient and their loved ones.
