Objective

During the course, you will become acquainted with research and development activities and the principles that guide them. You will learn the approaches and methods of research and development and their application. During the course, you will increase your understanding of your thesis topic and you will gain a sound understanding of the approaches and methods applicable to your own thesis. At the end of the course, you will have a feasible thesis plan on the basis of which you will complete your thesis.

Thesis instructions and assessment criteria, ethical guidelines, thesis process and content, research and development approaches and methods, thesis plan and reflection on your learning.

Location and time

An online course including two face-to-face meetings: Opparistartti and Aihetyöpaja.

A non-stop online course that a student can complete on his or her preferred schedule during its implementation period. The thesis topic must be approved before starting the course. Instructions for participating in the course can be found in the Liiketalouden opinnäytetyö Moodle. The course must be completed before starting the thesis.
