Objective

The objective of this part of practical training is to make the student familiar with the future tasks of an engineer, to familiarize him/her with the stakeholder groups and apply the studied skills in practice. The student learns how to work as a member of the work organization independently and with responsibility. He/she learns the skills and knowledge demanded in his/her field and use the appropriate working methods in a professional manner. The student finds new learning goals through practical experience. It is recommended that the practical training and thesis support each other as a whole.

Content

The practical training takes place under supervision (school and workplace supervision). During the practical training, you will become acquainted with the work environment, work tasks, and skills required in the profession of an engineer in your future profession. During the practical training, you will perform more demanding work tasks and activities in the field of education. You can also do part of the internship abroad.

Teaching methods

Opiskelija osallistuu harjoitteluinfoon ja etsii harjoittelupaikan. Opiskelija hyväksyttää harjoittelupaikan opettajatuutorilla, joka toimii myös harjoittelun ohjaajana, ennen harjoitteluun lähtöä. Harjoittelun ohjausympäristönä toimii Workseed, jossa tehdään harjoittelusopimukset, tehtävien palautukset ja arvioinnit.

Ohjatun harjoittelun tarkoituksena on, että saat opinnoissasi oppitun tiedon tueksi käytännön kokemusta opiskelijan ammattialan tehtävistä sekä sisäistät työelämän käytänteitä, oikeuksia ja velvollisuuksia. Samalla tutustut erilaisiin vaihtoehtoihin talotekniikka-alan työtehtävistä ja ammatin vaativat työtehtävät selkiytyvät. Talotekniikan harjoittelu 3 tulee suorittaa vaativampia työtehtäviä tarjoavassa harjoittelupaikassa. Sopivia työtehtäviä harjoitteluun ovat esimerkiksi suunnittelu- ja projektinjohtotehtävät, käyttö- ja ylläpito- sekä urakointitehtävät, valvontatehtävät ja muut asiantuntijatehtävät. Osan harjoittelusta voit myös suoritettaa ulkomailla.

Student workload

Harjoittelun kesto 7 työviikkoa (37,5h/viikko). 1 vko harjoittelua (37,5h) vastaa 1,5 opintopistettä.
