Objective

After completing the course, you can

- communicate with patients and clients in typical nursing situations
- use essential vocabulary related to nursing
- read general texts related to your field, and summarise the main points of the text to a patient/client

- admission interview questions
- daily programme on the ward
- describing pain
- words and phrases related to medication
- ADLs and assistive equipment
- nursing procedures and typical instruments
- general terminology related to surgical nursing
- core anatomy vocabulary
