Objective

After completing the course, you can

- describe your studies at a university of applied sciences
- describe nursing as a profession
- use appropriate phrases in English in spoken and written communication
- use basic nursing vocabulary

Content

- describing studies
- talking about the nursing profession (nursing duties, job titles, hospital wards/units/departments)
- spoken and written communication (appointments, guiding a patient/colleague, personal details, telephoning phrases, conversational phrases, email communication)
- basic nursing vocabulary (symptoms and conditions, body parts)

Contact teaching on campus, 80% attendance

After completing the course, you can

The exam will be in two parts.

There will be two re-exams available.
