Objective
The student knows the various life cycle phases of a building project and the different parties in a building project, as well as their main responsibilities and duties. The student knows the basics of procedures in competitive bidding and of operation on sites. The student knows how to use the most common office software.
Content
Basics of ADP, construction in society, basic concepts in construction economics, parties of construction, phases of construction, basic principles of quality and management in construction.

Teaching methods
Opintojakso toteutetaan kahdessa osassa. Ensimmäisessä osassa (1 op) opetellaan käyttämään tekstikäsittely- ja taulukkolaskentaohjelmia ja toisessa osassa (2 op) opiskellaan rakentamistalouden perusteita. Lähiopetus.
