Objective
The goal of the course is to form an understanding of what industrial production means. You know how products are produced on an industrial scale. You know the features of industrial production to produce different types of products. You can identify and distinguish between process production, project production, mass production, chain production, cell production and assembly production.

Oppimateriaali moodlessa prujuina ja linkkeinä.
Teaching methods
Lähiopetus, ryhmätyöskentely, itsenäinentyöskentely ja harjoitustehtävät.
Opintojakson tavoitteena on muodostaa opiskelijalle käsitys siitä, mitä tarkoittaa teollinen tuotanto. Opiskelija tietää kuinka teollisessa mittakaavassa tuotteita tuotetaan. Opiskelija tietää teollisen tuotannon piirteitä erityyppisten tuotteiden tuottamiseksi. Opiskelija osaa tunnistaa ja erotella prosessituotannon, projektituotannon, sarjatuotannon, ketjutuotannon, solutuotannon ja kokoonpanotuotannon.

Opintojakson kokonaiskuormitus opiskelijalle on arviolta noin 75 tuntia.
