Objective
You are able to communicate in everyday and professional situations orally and in writing in an appropriate genre. You are able to talk about your studies in English. You are able to develop your knowledge on environmental technology by means of English literature. You are able to give a presentation in English.
Content
Studying and learning skills, oral practice: studies and extracurricular activities, email and other written communication, basic concepts of environmental technology (Finnish nature and environment, environmental protection and nature conservation, climate change, environmental issues, recycling).
Teaching methods
You are able to communicate in everyday and professional situations orally and in writing in an appropriate genre. You are able to talk about your studies in English.
This course covers job application process. During the course, students write job application documents (CV and an application letter) and theirr oral skills are tested in a mock job interview.
