Objective

How is work ability assessed in studies? You will familiarize yourself with how work ability is assessed in occupational health care and employment services. Your competence will increase in how work ability is assessed, how the work ability assessment process progresses, and what roles employees have.

After the course:
- You know how to define the concept of work ability assessment.
- You know how to define where the work ability assessment is done.
- You know how the work ability assessment process goes forward both in occupational health care and in employment services.
- You know the roles of the employees participating in the process of the work ability assessment.

Content

Familiarizing yourself with the assessment of work ability helps you recognize how work ability is assessed and how to utilize the expertise of stakeholders in the assessment of work ability. So, familiarize yourself with the basics of work ability assessment

The subject of the course are
- Work ability assessment
- Processes of work ability assessment
- The roles of employees in the process of the work ability assessment

The course is suitable for you if you want to increase your knowledge of work ability assessment and its processes. You can work, for example, as a healthcare professional, an HR professional, or in TE services and Kela in tasks supporting the work ability of the working-age population. The course is also suitable for you if you work in projects related to work ability support.
