Objective
You know how to plan, implement and evaluate the work of nurses that strengthens the health and functional capacity of the elderly.
You can assess the risk factors that increase the need for services related to the health, living conditions and life situation of an elderly person.
You can direct to available services.
Is able to co-operate with the elderly person and their relatives / relatives and guide in decision-making related to the promotion of the health of the elderly person and the security of a dignified life.
Can implement health and medical care at home.
Content
You get acquainted into the legislation, recommendations and various national guidelines regarding the care of the elderly and their relatives. You know the special features of an elderly person's health counseling, health examinations and rehabilitative work approach and related counseling. You know how to implement health promotion that supports resources and functional capacity, as well as inclusive health in a variety of operating environments. You will use a variety of wellness technologies and digitalisation to promote and interact with the health of older people. You know the partners and methods of cooperating in customer-oriented healthcare work for the elderly. You will be able to design innovative health promotion interventions for the elderly.

Completion of the course includes participation in contact teaching, completing assignments (independent and group work). Also possible completion of an exam.
Course assignments must be returned by the end of the course. However, no later than the end of the next semester, or the student must complete the entire course again
