Objective

You are able to communicate orally and in writing in working life situations. You are familiar with the professional bodies and understand which kind of Swedish knowledge will be needed in the working life. You can present your company, project or organisation as well as products and services f. ex. at fairs and are able to write neccessary written documents. You are able to act in meetings and negotiations in Swedish and work out the necessary documents. You are able to follow actual Swedish media of the field and to report from the themes. You are able to study and retrieve information independently and you are able to use the vocabulary and structures of Swedish language in different situations in the working life.

- Small talk, on the phone and with customers

Teaching methods

You can tell about yourself, your work and studies and know how to communicate in oral and written working life situations. You familiarize yourself with your field and understand what kind of Swedish skills are needed in working life. You can follow the current Swedish media in your field and summarize them. You are capable of independent studies and information acquisitions and you can use basic vocabulary in your field and grammatical structures in working life situations.
This course is for students who have studied Swedish in their earlier studies.

Exam schedules

Kirjallinen tentti suoritetaan Exam-tenttiakvaariossa. opintojakson lopussa, jonka jälkeen suoritetaan suullinen koe lukujärjestykseen merkittynä ajankohtana.

Further information

Opiskelijalla tulee olla taitotaso B1 opintojaksolle tullessaan. Mikäli opiskelijan taitotaso on tätä alempi,on suositeltavaa, että opiskelija suorittaa ruotsin kielen kertaavat opinnot ennen Svenska för arbetslivet esim. suorittamalla Svensk klinik Rautalankaruotsia opintojakson syksyllä 2025.
