Objective

A) Practical Training 5.5 cr

- You understand the operating environments and the service structure in older people services (public, private and third and fourth sectors) from the perspective of an older adult
- You are able to apply legislation and recommendations related to the operating environments and services for older people
- You identify various operators providing services for older people (public, private, third and fourth sectors)
- You recognize the individual starting points of older people and know how to act in accordance with the ethical principles of the field in various operating environments for older people
- You acquire skills needed in professional interaction with older people and their relatives, and with the work community and various actors.

B) Professional Development 0.5 cr

- You can set goals for your own studies, develop your own professional growth and knowledge of the profession
- You know how to act in accordance with the guidelines of your profession and the rules of working life
- You can reflect on your own actions.
- You know how to act in a multi-professional team and how to interact professionally
