Objective
1. Is able recognize and name the core model and frameworks of occupational therapy and core terminology.
2. Is able to define occupational analysis and apply it.
3. Is able to define are able to outline the dimensions of human occupation and define terminoly of inclusion and occupational performance.
Content
Inclusion, occupational performance and functional capacity:
- The core consepts in general and from the perspectives of rehabilitation and occupational therapy.
Occupational therapy models and frameworks:
- Occupational Therapy Intervention Process Model (OTIPM)
- Transactional Model of Occupation (TMO)
- Model of Human Occupation (MOHO)
- Canadian Model of Performance and Engagement (CMOP-E)
- KAWA
Applying and Grading Activity Analysis
- Phases of activity analysis, practicing activity analysis and reporting it.
Multiple Dimensions of Occupation:
- Client participation and occupational performance.
- Occupations, capacity, skills and environment
- Becoming familiar with the ICF framework and occupational therapy terminology (Toimintaterapianimikkeistö p.5-20) and the definition of the dimensions of functional capacity and occupation
