Objective

1. You can analyse the client's environment and its opportunities for participation together with the client.


2. You can analyse the challenges and opportunities of a person's environment in relation to participation and discuss the analysis with a professional.


3. You are able to act as an advocate for the client when communicating the client's affairs with the professionals involved (with the client's consent) and, if necessary, convene a network named by the client to create a joint action plan.


4. Personal goal: You set a personal goal for the training.

Content

Assignment: Evaluation of the environment with the client and a written report for the client.
Assignment: Reflection and reporting, discussion with the placement supervisor.
Assignment: Convening a network (if needed).



**Note!**

The training includes the "Out of the House, Off the Yard" activity equipment training, which provides information and solutions for the participation and inclusion of children and adults with severe disabilities. The activity equipment training is in line with the activities of the Malike unit of the Support Association for People with Intellectual Disabilities.

The purpose of the training is to increase the opportunities for nature activities for vulnerable individuals by training staff and volunteers from various fields in the use of activity equipment. The training is conducted through online studies and practical exercises on site.

Teaching methods

Duration of the practical training: 10 ECTS, 7 weeks
