Teaching methods

A short international course consisting of an intensive week and a collaborative virtual component.This Erasmus-supported course (Blended Intensive Programme, BIP) applies the Design Thinking methodology on the theme of promoting entrepreneurship in sparsely populated areas (3 credits).
Selected companies from the Nurmes region of North Karelia will provide groups of 5-7 students with a challenge relevant to their business. Using the method, students have to offer a feasible solution to the challenge.
Students from Germany, Ireland, Spain, Bulgaria, France and Finland will participate in the course.
