Teaching methods
- You will familiarize yourself with the Finnish social and healthcare system
- You understand the meaning and importance of patient safety in nursing work
- You will familiarize yourself with infection control practices and methods
- You will be trained in giving an ISBARR report in multiprofessional cooperation
- You will get experiences in meeting the acute patient, in teamwork and in managing the acute
situation in simulation exercises
• You know how to systematically examine a patient using the ABCDE method
• You will be trained in basic and nursing resuscitation
• You will be trained in clinical skills in intravenous drug and fluid therapy
